Nature as Muse – where nature leads!

Spontaneous artworks shaped by wind, water riples, slivers of light through fall leaves, and movement. Nature paints without intention, and yet the results are pure abstraction.

Impressions of a Journey through Photography

2025

Photography has taught me mindfulness. It slows me down and notice details I might otherwise overlook, the gentle sway of a flower in the breeze, an abstract reflection in the water. I am drawn to the places where light shifts across landscapes, where stillness and motion coexist. These elements inspire the flow and layering in my paintings, not to recreate but to translate the feelings into abstract form, guiding a process that is intuitive and reflective. Through the camera, I’ve learned to travel not just to new places but into the depth of my own experiences, and reflections.

You came here to grow, not to acquire or accumulate, not to be perceived perfectly or attain every charm in the world. You came here to deepen, to let go. To tie loose ends, to give closure. To love; to love. Please remember this when it feels as though you want to grip tightly to the pieces of your life that fit seamlessly within the structure of success, of safety, of making it. You are a wild soul in a temporary form. You are here to explore and have a story all your own. Don’t deny yourself that. Don’t deny yourself adventure” – Brianna Weist
